Brilliant! That's what I thought, so I decided to try this out. To make it a little easier on myself on my first time around, I did a week of frozen chicken meals. This was actually really successful. I used some of these meals on the stove, when I wanted a quick fix, but mostly I just dump them in the crock pot to cook on their own all day. So successful, I'm going to try chicken and beef for next week. Daring, right? Preparing meals this way will definitely save you time in the long run, but be prepared to devote 3+ hours upfront. Let me tell you, only having to chop onions once a week is a magical thing. Also, fresh veggies that you won't get around to cooking in time can be salvaged, saving you some money which is always a good thing.
Tips:
Add meat before it's frozenGo light on the salt & pepper-you can always add more later
If you want crisper veggies, don't add those to crock pot meals; cook separately.
Label your bags with the name of the meal and the date
